Course aims at equipping students with the basic knowledge in plant botany and physiology Students should able to Describe the structure of major plant groups.
Describe functions of the plant parts such as leaves, stems, and roots and their modification. Identify types of inflorescences, flowers, fruits and seeds.
Describe features involved in plants evolution Describe the photosynthesis process Assessment:
Coursework (50%)
(At least two tests, plus assignment/quizzes/ practical) and University
examination (50%.)
